At a given intersection it was decided to have a 4-phase system for the traffic
signals. If there are to be 8 sec each cycle when red shown simultaneously
on all phases. Find the required actual green time for each phase and draw
the phasing diagram if the following values were determined:
Ymax for phase 1 = 0.21
Ymax for phase 2 = 0.23
Ymax for phase 3 = 0.25
Ymax for phase 4 = 0.19

A parking area at city center has 30 bays and serve 200 veh per a day. Given
that the parking efficiency is 80% and the park is open 8 hours a day, find the
parking load, capacity and average parking duration.
