The World Federation of Khoja Shia Ithna-Asheri Muslim Communities

Thank you for your letter of 16 April 2020 and the enclosed minutes, both received by email on that day,
together with the further email on 17 April 2020 attaching revised minutes. My client infers from your
response that Safder Jaffer would not have been eligible for nomination as a member of the Milton
Keynes Executive Committee until November 2020.

I note that you appear not to have been authorised by Safder Jaffer to release his membership
application form. We regret that he has not responded to our recent correspondence either.

I can confirm that I sent my letter of 7 April 2020 to the Charity Commission in connection with my client’s
concerns about the World Federation’s recent electoral process and that I will send your reply to the
Commission along with other correspondence presently awaited from others.

You ask for a copy of the pre-action letter sent by my client to the World Federation. My client has been
seeking not to put legal correspondence into the public domain at the present time but has no objection
to the World Federation releasing a copy to you if they are willing to do so.
