Human Immunidefiency virus (HIV)

HIV is the virus that causes AIDS. The virus interferes with the body’s ability. HIV
virus destroys the white blood systems called CD4. Most people get the virus because having
unproctectual sex with the someone has HIV. And another people getting the HIV by sharing
drug needles with someone who is infected HIV. Woman can get it is for their babies during
pregnancy or childbirth.

In the world, more than 35 million people known are infected of HIV. Also In
Indonesia, HIV infection accurs most in a 25-49 year productive age group. With the male
more infected than females. Based on a risk factor for HIV infection this dominates causes is
heterosexuals, intravenous drug addicts, and the guy relationship.

The pathophysiology of HIV begins with the transmission of viruses into the body
cause infcetions that occurs 3 phases, there are is sereconversion,asumptomatic, and AIDS.

First phases is sereconverison, in this phases some people with HIV do not shows
symptoms until month or 7 years after get or contracting the virus. But the other people can
shows the symptoms of HIV infection there are is fever,jointpant,chills,weight loss, and
thrush. The people who experience that several symptoms might have been at risk of
contracting HIV over the last 6 weeks should to take a rest at home ands stay at home.

Second phases is asymptomatic. In many cases, the virus that can not occur after the
first phases during the time HIV virus can develop and cause immune system and organ
damage. Without medication this phases weakning immune system body in slow prsess can
continue for an average pf around 10 years.

Third is he damage phases called AIDS. HIV weakens the ability to fight infection.
The people can get the virus becomes vulnerable to serious illness. This phases is stage 3
HIV symtoms of late stage HIV infection may include ,diarrhea presistnes, blurre vision, dry
cough, a fever over 37 Celcius lasting for weeks, weight loss, shortness breath, tiredness.

The rae many ways to prevent HIV, there are used condoms while having sex with
someone who is infected HIV, do not to sharing drug needles to other people. The mother
who is can get it is to their babies during pregnancy, after post partum should to delivery and
breastfeeding. WHO also recommends packages of servise trailored to various populations,
including for the 5 keys populations. The people that infected HIV can also comsume
Antiretroviral therapy, is a combination of several antiretroviral drugs used to supplement
HIV, multyply and spread in teh body. But this therapy should based on doctor suggestion.
 Based on this description, AIDS is the virus causes of HIV infection. The virus
destroys human immune system. HIV multiple using CD4 cells to weaknes the people body.
The best thing to do is to not having multiple sex with patners and not to take drugs by
sharing drug needles. AIDS can kill you. Always remember thet your life is too precious.
