SHAR (SDSC SHAR) is a lead Centre of Indian Space Research Organization(ISRO) situated at
Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh. Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR has facilities of Solid Propellant
Production, a Rocket Motor Static Test Facility and Launch Complexes for launching variety of rockets,
rocket tracking through sophisticated radar and optical tracking systems and real time data
acquisition and processing facilities and other support services including logistics.

Competent Authority in the prescribed format applicable for reservation in jobs under
Government of India, at the time of Written Test/Skill Test. (Copy of Proforma enclosed as
Annexure-I)

संबंधी खंड व2नदKHट eप से समाहत होना चाहए तथा अनुeप *ासं3गक समय पर अथाKत उपयुG
K त पदC हेतु आवेदन
करते समय अLय2तत/वैध होना चाहए। अं. प.व. अjय3थKयC को अ2नवायK eप से अ. प.व. *माण-पS िजसम “rNमी लेयर

candidates, reservation will be available only to candidates, who do not fall in the Creamy Layer
and have to submit latest OBC (non-creamy layer) certificate issued by the Competent Authority
in the prescribed format applicable for reservation in jobs under Government of India at the time
of Written Test/Skill Test. OBC certificate must specifically include the clause regarding
”Exclusion from Creamy Layer” and should be updated/valid at the relevant point of time i.e. at
the time of submission of on-line application for the above posts. OBC candidates, must
therefore, furnish valid and updated OBC certificate which should specifically include the clause
regarding “Exclusion from Creamy Layer” in order to be considered against the posts reserved
for OBC at the time of Written Test/Skill Test.

7. आ3थKक eप से 2नबKल वगp हे तु आरण (आ.2न.व) Reservation for Economically Weaker Sections

(EWSs):

7.1 जो \यिGत अनस

ु ू3चत जा2तयC, अनुसू3चत जन जा2त यC तथा अBय पछड़े वगp हे तु आरण योजना के अंतगKत नह@ं आते
तथा िजनके परवारकN सकल वा षKक आय `8 लाख (आठ लाख vपये माS) से कम है , को आ3थKक 2नबKल वगK हे तु
आरण के लाभ के Aलए चन ु ा जायेगा। आय म आवेदन वषK के पछले वषK कN सभी 7SोतC से हुई आय जैसे वेतन,
कृ ष, \यवसाय, पेशा इ>याद,शाAमल होनी चाहए। ऐसे \यिGत िजनके परवार 2नEनAलbखत fकसी भी परसEपि>त के
7वामी या अ3धकार@ हi, को आ3थKक 2नबKल वगK के eप म नह@ं चुना जायेगा चाहे उनकN पारवारक आय कुछ भी हो।

 Persons who are not covered under the scheme of reservation for SCs, STs and OBCs and whose
family has gross annual income below `8.00 lakh ( Rupees Eight lakh only) are to be identified as
EWSs for benefit of reservation. Income shall also include income from all sources i.e. salary,
agriculture, business, profession, etc. for the financial year prior to the year of application. Also
persons whose family owns or possesses any of the following assets shall be excluded from being
identified as EWS, irrespective of the family income:-

I. 5 एकड़ या उससे अ3धक कृ ष योtय भूAम 5 acres of agricultural land and above;
II. 1000 वगK फNट या उससे अ3धक का रहायशी Fलॉट Residential plot of 1000 sq.ft. and
above;
III. अ3धसू3चत नगरपाAलकाओं म 100 वगK गज या उससे अ3धक का रहायशी Fलॉट Residential plot
of 100 sq. yards and above in notified municipalities;
IV. अ3धसू3चत नगर पाAलकाओं के अलावा अBय ेSC म 200 वगK गज या उससे अ3धक का रहायशी
Fलॉट Residential plot of 200 sq. yards and above in areas other than the notified
municipalities.
7.2 आ3थKक 2नबKल वगK कN ि7थ2त तय करने के Aलए भूAम या सEपि>त 7वाAम>व जाँच करते समय परवार कN वAभBन
7थलC या वAभBन 7थानC / शहरC म ि7थत सEपि>त को जोड़ा जायेगा। The property held by a “Family” in
different locations or different places/cities would be clubbed while applying the land or property
holding test to determine EWS status.

7.3 इस उxेYय के Aलए परवार म ,वह \यिGत जो आरण का लाभ चाहता है , उसके माता पता,18 वषK से कम आयु के
सहोदर एवं उसके / उसकN प2त / प>नी और 18 वषK से कम आयु के बnचे शाAमल हi। The term “family” for this
purpose will include the person who seeks benefit of reservation, his/her parents and siblings
below the age of 18 years as also his/her spouse and children below the age of 18 years.

7.4 आय एवं संपि>त *माण पS जार@ करने वाला *ा3धकार@ तथा *माण पS का स>यापन/ Income and Asset
certificate issuing Authority and verification of certificate:

सम अ3धकार@ Lवारा जार@ आय एवं संपि>त *माण पS *7तुत करने पर आ3थKक 2नबKल वगK के अंतगKत आरण का
लाभ Aलया जा सकता है। उEमीदवार के आ3थKक 2नबKल वगK से संबz होने के दावे के सा{य के eप म अनुसंलtनक-I।
पर दये गए 2नधाKरत *पS म 2नEन Aलbखत fकसी एक *ा3धकार@ Lवारा जार@ आय एवं संपि>त *माण पS ह@ माBय
होगा। The benefit of reservation under EWS can be availed upon production of an income and
Asset Certificate issued by a Competent Authority. The income and Asset Certificate issued by
any one of the following authorities in the prescribed format as given in Annexure-II shall only
be accepted as proof of candidates claim as belonging to EWS:-

have to produce income and asset certificate as and when required

अनुसंलtनक- III पर दये गए 2नधाKरत *पS म क@य या रा}य सरकार Lवारा व3धवत गठत कम-से-कम तीन सद7यी

Test, clearly indicating the percentage of disability, issued by Medical Board consisting of at least
three (03) members out of which one shall be a specialist in the particular field for assessing
disability, duly constituted by Central or a State Government. The definition of Disabilities are as

Selection Process: The mode of Selection will be Written Test and Skill test. The
qualification prescribed is the MINIMUM requirement and possession of the same does not
automatically make the candidates eligible to be called for Written Test. There will be an initial
screening, based on the academic performance and other parameters given in the on-line
application and only those screened-in candidates will be called for Written Test. The Written
Test will be conducted in such a way that theoretical and practical knowledge of the candidate is
tested covering both breadth and depth of the prescribed curriculum. Based on the performance
in the Written Test, candidates will be shortlisted for Skill Test, depending on the number of
vacancies notified.

Skill Test will be purely go-no-go basis and marks obtained in the Skill Test shall not be
considered for selection. The Skill Test shall be evaluated on 100 points scale with minimum of
60% for qualification. The final selection will be done amongst qualified candidates, purely on the
marks obtained in the Written Test. From amongst the candidates who qualify in the Skill Test,
with minimum 60% marks, empanelment shall be done in the order of marks obtained in the
Written Test, subject to number of vacancies notified. In case, of a tie in the Written Test scores,
the academic scores of the notified qualification will be tie-breaker. If sufficient number of
SC/ST/OBC/PWBD candidates are not available for filling-up the vacancies reserved for these
categories, relaxation will be extended to candidates belonging to the respective category, to
make good the short-fall.
