1. INTRO
The outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has created a global
health crisis that has had a deep impact on the way we perceive our world
and our everyday lives. Not only the rate of contagion and patterns of
transmission threatens our sense of agency, but the safety measures put in
place to contain the spread of the virus also require social distancing by
refraining from doing what is inherently human, which is to find solace in the
company of other. Standard recommendations to prevent infection spread
include regular hand washing, covering mouth and nose when coughing and
sneezing, thoroughly cooking meat and eggs. Avoid close contact with
anyone showing symptoms of respiratory illness such as coughing and
sneezing.
2. OBJECTIVE
The objective of this document is intended to introduce standardization in line
with the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) and Client
(LMTSB) recommendations on the management of COVID-19 on site.

Site Supervisor are responsible to ensure that all staffs/workers on site
have been made aware of the specific requirements of the site-specific
procedures

The inclusion of COVID-19 as a hazard in Hirarc for work activities.
To ensure that this Hirarc is effectively reviewed, approved and
communicated.
To ensure that all site facilities are sufficient to allow for the social
distancing and hygiene requirements of this SOP and to take
appropriate immediate action where they are not.
To prepare screening & sanitizing stations
To go through screening test at LMT guard office before enter
Lumut Maritime Terminal Site

1. PROCEDURE
1.1 Approval MITI/CIDB
Following the prime minister's announcement on 1 May 2020 regarding the
reopening of the economy, the construction industry is permitted to
operate with effect from 4 May 2020 (MCO Phase 4). Such operations will
be subject to compliance with the standard operating procedure for
construction issued by the Ministry of Works (the Construction SOP). The
Construction SOP provides that the following activities are allowed during
MCO Phase 4.
Any construction works as set out in the Construction Industry
Development Board (CIDB) Act 1994 is allowed.
1.4 Induction
All workers must undergo induction with LMTSB HSSE to understand the
safety measure that implement in LMTSB. Site supervisor is responsible to
ensure all his workers undergo HSSE induction. Any personnel not
undergo HSSE induction will not have permission to enter any LMTSB
premises and do construction works.

1.5 Permit to Work
All non routine work shall be according to LMTSB permit to work
procedure. Contractor shall/apply permit to work from HSSE department.
