PROJECT CELESTINI

The topic given to us this year for Project Celestini is air pollution. One of the major contributors
of air pollution in urban areas is emissions from the vehicles on road. We want to calculate the
contribution to air pollution by the vehicles. This is a challenging task as in Delhi, there is no data
for the vehicular density in different areas of Delhi. And due to the lack of traffic cameras in several
parts of Delhi, it is not possible to collect this data.
