Maine, a FAMOUS musician and Ally, a young singer. It tells the STORY of Jack Maine, a hard-
drinking guitarist who falls in love with Alley. He helps her and she becomes a FAMOUS singer.
But then Jack starts having problems with drugs and alcoholism. The film received EIGHT
nominations for the OSCARS, including Best Picture, Best Actor (Cooper), Best Actress (Gaga) and
Best Supporting Actor (Elliott). It won the Oscar for Best Original Song ("Shallow"). It’s a GREAT
