3.1.4: Describe that offsprings inherit features from their parents or ancestors.
PERFORMANCE STANDARD PL 4: Make generalization that inherited features in an indivual are from ancestors based on family tree.
SUCCESS CRITERIA Able to state the process in human growth correctly
TEACHING ACTIVITIES & HAND Teacher will have a group activity that is a game that uses a picture to match a picture of a child with a parent / family
TOOLS (PdPc) Each student discusses in the group to complete the game. Teachers will guide students if necessary. Each group
will present their work in front of the classroom with the teacher. Teachers conclude more clearly about the inherited
characteristics.
Individual discussions about changes from baby to adult in terms of:
• type of hair, shape of the nose, colour of the eyes
