As for the SME Employees, SME Training enhance their career development
by increasing their skills to retain in their current job and increase their
worth/value in the job market upon gaining the value added skills through
training.
Each training provider can only submit a maximum number of two (2) courses
from the six (6) focus areas below:
i. Talent management
ii. Business strategy, development & marketing
iii. Financial management
iv. Growth and Scaling
v. Networking & Leadership
vi. Customer management
5. HOW TO ENSURE THE PROPOSED COURSES WILL BE CONSIDERED
BY HRDF?
Priority will be given for those proposals that address the needs of the SME
Industry which are severely affected due to MCO and post COVID-19.
Proposed courses must be related to Strategic or operational skills which can
add value to the SME employees, helps them to retain in their current job and
marketable in job market.
Proposals can be submitted from 18th June to 17th July 2020. The date for
future submissions will be notified after 17th July 2020 (if any).
HRDF will not be imposing any charges for the proposal submission.
It takes up to 15 working days from the submission date till notification is sent
to the training providers. However, it is subject to a complete submission of
documentation required and adhering to the provided Proposal Format.
The training will commence in July 2020 upon the publishing of the
implementation guideline by HRDF.
11. WHY THE IMPLEMENTATION GUIDELINE WAS NOT MADE AVAILABLE
PRIOR TO THE CALL FOR PROPOSAL?
HRDF will provide financial assistance up to RM5,000 for the course fee
including other allowances with proper justification based on the cost
breakdown. The allowed course fee does not include certification costs. If the
nature of the course is certification, an increase in the fees can be considered
during the proposal stage.
