Thanks for Downloading NFS Most Wanted Redux 2020!

The purpose of this mod is to merge all the best community works and create a new
and improved NFS Most Wanted experience without losing the original feel;
This pack is the result of months of downloads, installations, changes of various
mods coming from a lot of excellent authors, please note that make everything works
together as a unique game is tough
and may still present errors or crashes even if everything is set correctly. I also
recommend to install this if you have a medium-high pc setup.
Redux will be updated regularly with new mods/scripts when they come out, so stay
tuned!

INSTALLATION:
1) Extract the folder "Need for Speed Most Wanted Redux" wherever you want. DO NOT
copy/paste over a previous installation, the game is already installed and ready to
launch!
2) Open the "scripts" folder and make sure to set your monitor resolution in both
Widescreen Fix and HD Reflections file and save them (ex. your monitor is
1920x1080, set ResX = 1920 and ResY = 1080)
2.1) [OPTIONAL] In Widescreen Fix you can change the buttons layout depending by
your playing method, set ImproveGamepadSupport to "1" if you want Xbox layout, set
it to "2" for PlayStation layout or leave it to "0" for keyboard buttons.
2.2) [OPTIONAL] Open the Extra Options script and modify it as you want, it's not
needed since I've already set everything as shown in the video, but you can still
modify something as you wish.
3) You can now launch the game, but if you want to play with the full Xbox360 look
you have to launch it through Texmod everytime;
A copy of Texmod is contained in the "TPF Files" folder, launch it as admin,
click on the Folder under Target Application section and select the "speed.exe"
file inside the NFSMW Redux folder;
Now, staying in Package Mod click on the small folder icon in the middle, click
Browse... and select BOTH the .tpf files contained in "TPF Files" folder then click
"Run".
DO NOT click any buttons while the game is loading, the screen may become black
and this will last for 15 seconds to 1 minute, depends by your PC.
3.1) If the game is crashing at this point this means you don't have the highest
quality settings in the game, to set them you have to MOVE "MW360Tweaks" contained
in scripts outside the folder, launch the game and set max quality in the menu,
then put the script back and retry.
4) Once inside the game make sure to set everything to max quality and make sure
Overbright is set to "Off". This is very important since you won't be able to
launch or play the game without max settings.
5) Create a new Alias/Profile, this is needed to have ALL the new cars showing in
your game.
6) Enjoy the game!

FAQs:

• Can my PC run this?

- It's very hard to tell since this is an old game and more mods you add more heavy
it become to load and properly work, I would recommend this mod to who has a
medium/high end PC.

• How do I change game Language?

- At the moment I don't know a working method to change game language, since most
of the mods are compiled for English version of the game only. If I will find a
working method I will let you know!

• How do I disable Motion Blur?

- Go to Documents/NFS Most Wanted/Settings and set g_MotionBlurEnable = 0 and Save.

TROUBLESHOOTING:

• When launching the game it closes immediately

- It could be a problem with 360 Tweaks, the game won't load if you aren't using
the max settings, to launch the game move the 360 Tweaks out of scripts folder,
launch the game, set the max settings and then put back the 360 Tweaks. Also make
sure to set Widescreen Fix and HD Reflections to your Current Resolution!

• I don't have the new cars

- You have to create a new profile to be able to see and use the new cars.

• Some cars become invisible while playing

- This is a problem with high poly models, it could happen and it's normal, this is
causated by the low memory available of the game.

• Some cars don't have vinyls

- I had to remove them since they used the low quality version, not compatible with
x1024 one, that made game crash instantly so, better have no possibilities to click
on them by mistake.
