interesting and/or relevant. Then answer these questions:
 Where is this happening? In which country? Describe the business
environment of the  places mentioned in the case.
It happened in the United States. A financial bankruptcy developed in that
country that ended up affecting everyone and caused the bankruptcy of the
largest banks in the United States.

 When did it happen? Mention what was going on in the world at that
particular time.

2008 and developed due to another financial crisis called “Suprime Mortgage
Crisis”

In that year many banks such as Lehman Brothers and Merrill Lynch were
bankrupt by subprime mortgages

 Define the problem and list all the variables that affect it, explaining
why?
Crisis that developed due to the subprime mortgage crisis. These mortgages
have a level of non-payment stiffness higher than the average of the rest of
the credits. This caused the growth of an economic bubble that burst and had
repercussions worldwide.

 Who else is involved? Mention all the people, companies and

institutions that are involved in the whole situation, explaining the
existing connections between them. Once you cover everything, this
first part should be at least three pages long.
The companies involved are Merrill Lynch and Lehman Brothers who were
bankrupt due to the crisis. Bank of America bought Merril Lynch at half of its
real value. This crisis had repercussions worldwide due to lack of credit, with
