Mission/ Core purpose of the Job


Under the supervision of the IT Infrastructure Network and System Supervisor,
his main assignment is to maintain all Databases, Servers, Routers, Switches
and all equipment hosted in MTN data center and manage data center
equipment stock.

1- System/Network Management
 Manage all movement in the data center (Entrance, Exit, Installation, cleanness)
 Supervise the Installation, configuration of all hardware in the data center in
accordance with the data center management policy.
 Authorize the Installation, assembling and configuration of Network/system
element within the data center.
 Enforce Applications and systems configurations related to devices to be
installed in the data center.
 Enforce security within the data center.
 Enforce devices naming convention within the data center.
 Monitor CCTV Access Control System up to date and fully functional.
 Keep the data center System management Database (SMDB) up to date.

2- Customer Relationship
 Acts as SPOC for MTN Benin IT department stock movement
 Act as single interface between MTN Internal external suppliers/Support team
entering the data center
 Makes hardware and software acquisition recommendations reporting and
providing justification for equipment and interning and exiting the data center.
 Assists with the planning, design of the data center for optimization

3- Policy & Procedures

 Maintaining accurate records of all movement in the data Center
