The latter hunt

Darkness was dragging the Sun down, trying to get pushed above it. They met, and the
moon with its fierce luminous colours, interrogated the Sun, forcing it to give up, at least for
some time. Then we came in, us three, with our silly camping attire staying alone in the
woods just for a night, an unforgettable night with my mates, Catelyn and Nola.

And we finally arrived, going through rough mountains and steep hills. We got out of the
car, and a fresh smell of clean air was surrounding us. It was so refreshing.

As it was getting late, I was trying to unpack everything, while the girls were fooling with the
matches, joking about setting the whole forest alight. When their immaturity kicks in, it is
so tiring to communicate with them about anything that requires logic really. So, I sat there,
trying to light up the fire, so we could eat something and not starve to death. Once the fire
was lit up, I asked Nola to go and search for some pieces of wood, so we can be warm
overnight. Little did I know…

It is one of those nights again - the business is very slow. You know, it is a week before
mocks and everyone in the town is studying. Not good for me. Not any prays for this
weekend either. Well, it is time for me to retire. This industry can’t have elderly, we are too
slow to catch any of those youngsters.

This is my lucky day! I just spotted a girl, about 16 I suppose, looking so vulnerable – what a
shame.
