Evidence: Job interview

Imagine you are applying for a new job. Below you will find some common job
interview questions. For this evidence, you have to record yourself while you
answer them. Dress up. Look professional. Pay attention to your body language.
Show you really want to get that job. Remember to use the grammar structures
and vocabulary you have practiced within this learning activity.

1. If you could start your career over again, what would you do differently?
If I could start my career again, I would have studied sooner, time is important to
gain experience and good stability

2. During your performance reviews, what criticism do you hear the most? During
my performance evaluations I usually hear that I should pay more attention to
the questions that I am asked.

3. Tell me about your last position?


My last job was as a budget professional
4. What is your work philosophy?
My work philosophy is to do my homework in the shortest time possible, doing
the tasks correctly and organizing the tasks by level of importance.

5. How have you changed professionally speaking in the last two years?
I have prepared myself to acquire a better professional level, it is important that
my bosses recognize and work and achieve all the established goals

6. Tell me about the best manager you have ever had. I had a manager that
worked efficiently. Instead of bossing everyone around, he set an example of
hard work through his actions. I respected that trait and learned to be more like
him by working smarter.

7. What were the most memorable accomplishments in your last position? The
most memorable achievements in my position, I made by presenting the
financial budget reports of the projects that we managed correctly, receiving
congratulations from my bosses, and from the co-operators.

8. Why do you want to leave your current job?

I want to have new challenges in my professional career, I would like to climb


one more position and obtain better financial remuneration and new
responsibilities.

9. In your previous position, how much time did you spend learning how to do
things better? In my previous position, I learned to handle activities very quickly,
I am characterized by being someone who learns things easily.

10. If you’re very happy with your current job, why do you want to leave? I want to
have new challenges in my professional life, and in the same way to get a
better paid job, I believe that I have already completed my cycle in my work
