Evidence: Job interview

Imagine you are applying for a new job. Below you will find some common job
interview questions. For this evidence, you have to record yourself while you
answer them. Dress up. Look professional. Pay attention to your body language.
Show you really want to get that job. Remember to use the grammar structures
and vocabulary you have practiced within this learning activity.

1. If you could start your career over again, what would you do differently?
- I think that I would not change anything, in my learning process I have enjoyed
each stage, I have visualized a future that I would like to reach.

2. During your performance reviews, what criticism do you hear the most?
- During the evaluations I have criticized the tone of my voice since it is very low, I
have tried to improve but the criticism recidivizes, my boss thinks that it is lack of
security.
3. Tell me about your last position?
- In my last work activity I learned a lot because I had never worked in the
construction and engineering branch, many terms were unknown to me, now I
don't ask so much and my work is more efficient.

4. What is your work philosophy?

- We are capable of everything that we propose, some faster others slower but if
you propose it you will achieve it.

5. How have you changed professionally speaking in the last two years?
- I believe that I am a safer, more qualified person, with a more defined goal, I
have better interaction with people, I like to lead and fulfill my goals.

6. Tell me about the best manager you have ever had.

- Once I had a Boss who, besides being very well trained, had a great heart, he
taught me that no matter how many diplomas or educational and labor awards you
have, if you are not a good person, if you do not give others what You know with
love and patience, when you do it you are not only an excellent person but also a
great leader.

7. What were the most memorable accomplishments in your last position?

- In my last job I contributed in the elaboration of the company's quality
management system, we created process manuals which enriched me with
knowledge because I knew in detail the management of the company. We
achieved certification and that made me feel very important.

8. Why do you want to leave your current job?

- I think that I have already achieved my goals in that company, I learned a lot and
contribute to their growth, I think I can do the same in this company.

9. In your previous position, how much time did you spend learning how to do
things better?
- It was a process of continuous learning, every day my skills were perfected and
new things were learned along the way.

10. If you’re very happy with your current job, why do you want to leave?
- I am very happy but I want to continue advancing professionally and I know that
in this company I can reach new goals, it is a different work field from the current
one.
