In a petroleum refinery, there are a number of processes which are not directly involved
in the production of hydrocarbon fuels but serve as a supporting role. The processes such
as:

6. Kerosene Hydrotreating Process

9. Hydrogen Recovery in Hydrogen Production & Recovery
10. Natural Gas Desulfurization
11. Amine Treatment
12. Claus Tail Gas Treatment
13. Atmospheric Residuum Desulfurization
14. Flue Gas Desulfurization
15. Treatment of Oily Water

Task:

1. Select ONE (1) TITLE listed above.

2. Prepare a POSTER consisting of:

i) Process Flow Diagram (PFD)

ii) Process description – equipments involved, operating conditions etc
iii) Importance of the process in the refinery
iv) Latest technology applied (if any)

1. A3 size poster
2. Make sure the Figures/ Diagrams are clear.
3. Please read the Poster Submission Form rubric since your poster must reflect
description stated to obtain good marks respectively.
