2 LIMITATIONS

2.1 Certification Status

The EC 155B1 is approved in the TRANSPORT category under JAR Part 29 for
Category A and B. Category A operations are covered in the Flight Manual
supplement 1.

Noise level certification.

The noise levels determined under the conditions prescribed in Chapter 8 of ICAO
Annex 16 and FAR Part 36 are as follows:

2.2 Approved Operations

The EC 155B1 is approved for two-pilot Commercial Air Transport passenger flights
under day and night VFR and IFR. It is also cleared for the following types of
operation within the limitations laid down in the EC 155B1 Flight Manual:

ILS Category 1
Carriage of external loads
Winching
Single-pilot VFR

2.3 Aircraft Operating Limits

The EC155 B1 is operated in accordance with the limitations laid down in the Flight
Manual. Additional limitations are specified below.

2.4 Passenger Seating Configurations

The EC155 will be operated with a seating configuration to carry up to 12


passengers.

The maximum approved seating configuration for JAR Ops 3 is 15 including flight
crew.
