) INNOVATION –COLLISION DETECTION PROXIMITY SENSOR


 Objective: -To bring a new safety measure to the increase vehicle safety
standards and help the driver
to prevent the chances of an impending collision.
 Methodology and Application: -
This year, the team has decided to install an innovative feature in the race car to
increase its productivity and
efficiency and for that Collision Detection Sensors are used which senses any
obstacles in a given range and
it automatically applies brakes and turns off the engine when anything crosses that
range. This feature is very
necessary in race car as it provides adequate safety to the vehicle, driver and as
well as to any other person
which is in the course of the vehicle during any mishappening. To successfully
implement this feature an
Arduino board will be used with Lipo battery which will enable the collision
detection sensors to work.
