Party Plan Amendment (PPA) to the State Central Committee (SCC)

THE STATE OF THE VIRGINIA GOP

by Fredy Burgos Who just lost his bid for 11th District Chair

The Republican Party of Virginia (RPV), State Central Committee (SCC), along with several of its new elected
members, met on Saturday to discuss the recommendations of a State GOP convention from an ad hoc committee
appointed by the RPV Chairman. The ad hoc committee was overrepresented with 46% of unaccountable unelected
voting members and the committee was chaired by one of these unelected members. They recommended NO
convention. What they also recommended was what politicians call an unassembled convention.

The “ad hoc” committee was made up of people on the SCC. So, they are NOT “unaccountable
unelected voting members”. The unassembled convention was an option added to the State Party Plan
as a temporary alternative to a regular convention until the COVID-19 restrictions are lifted. I don’t
think the RPV could have gotten insurance for a regular convention. Mr. Burgos should know that. He
was a member of the SCC until he was removed a few years back.

Here are the results:

· Fear of protesters

· Fear of our Governor

· Fear of having to pay for a law suit

· Fear of insurance liability

· Unassembled convention August 15 with local district committees organizing multiple voting sights.

· Elect new chairman and a YES or NO on a Party Plan Amendment.

Mr. Burgos might be afraid of protesters, and the Governor. The SCC understood the very real
insurance and liability issues.

The RPV had an opportunity to show the general public strength by standing up against the Democrat Governor
"Black Face" Northam's Orwellian decrees by voting to have a traditional convention and that opportunity was lost.
The RPV could have shown it will represent what most Virginians feel. That it will stand up for small businesses
being shut down and regulated without laws being passed. It will stand up for conserving our historic heritage and
identity as a nation by saying no statue removals. That it will stand against the vandals, thieves, violence
perpetrated by the anti-white racist movement of Black Lives Matter. Instead we got a collective fetal position,
sucking our thumbs in a corner.

This weakness on an epic scale along with old ideas from liberal boomers coming from the GOP board of directors
and SCC, we can all see the blood in the water for years to come.
Republican Party change is needed. It is time to remove most of the unelected political class from leadership of the
RPV SCC.

The RPV State Central Committee (SCC) is the RPV governing body. There is no “board of directors”
The SCC did exactly what the majority believed was the best thing to do. They studied their options,
and took a vote. The topic was the convention. It was not about anything else. Mr. Burgos is using this
inflammatory language to divert your attention and inflame these situations in such a manner that
should be beneath anyone in the RPV. I am personally grateful the SCC did the right thing for the
membership, and now I understand why he was removed from the SCC.

Vote YES for the Party Plan Amendment on August 15!

After spending the majority of his email telling you how bad the committee is, with his parting words,
he wants you to vote for an amendment that will ensure the RPV remains in control of a few to the
detriment of the many. The “Republican Change Committee” has been working on a plan that
Democrats will love, because the plan will help the “committee” and the Democrats.

Please take a moment and give consideration to the points I will provide, and make your own decision
based on what you think is right. If you do so, the RPV will grow and begin to overcome the damage
done by selfish people.
