International Programme
of Spanish Studies Ronda
Bienvenido a Ronda

Housed in a former Moorish palace, the University of Malaga -

International Programme of Spanish Studies provides students a learning
experience unlike any other. The Programme attracts students from all
over the world and it offers such benefits as:

• All levels of Spanish language classes which provide a customised

curriculum.

• Small classes (maximum of 11 students) that ensure personalized

attention.

• Flexible options for accommodations and meal plans which allow

students to create the atmosphere in which they will be most
comfortable studying.

• Organised monthly excursions to nearby cities (such as Sevilla,

Córdoba, Granada, etc.) which serve to increase cultural awareness.

This combination of the highest calibre of instruction and a great deal of

flexibility and individualization allows our students to achieve their
fullest potential during their stay in Ronda.

The city itself plays a pivotal role in ensuring students an optimal learning
experience. Located in the mountains of southern Spain, Ronda offers
students a picturesque setting for their studies and opportunities for
integrating themselves in community life.

With a population of only 50,000 (approximately), Ronda provides a safe,

friendly environment for student living while also providing easy access
to larger urban centres such as Sevilla and Málaga.

Despite its relatively small size, Ronda offers students a wealth of social
opportunities (including dance classes, horseback riding, hiking, cinema,
and a healthy night life) through which to practice their Spanish and get
to know local students and those from other parts of the world. In Ronda,
students do not simply learn Spanish, they live it!
