Case Study

Universal Values

1.0 Introduction
Case Study is one of the components in PRS1032 Universal Value that is organised to
promote and instill good values among students by comparing event from the past with
the current situation. By acknowledging historical events, students are nurtured to
develop a sense of awareness among communities.

1.1 Objectives
Case Study covers all learning units in Universal Value course. Each generic group will
be given a case study theme and is required to submit ONE video and ONE report. Case
study has been allocated with 40% marks which cover video presentation and report.
Students are required to study events that happened in the past and related it with
current issues. This will enhance the student experience regarding world history and
how this helped in the evolving of present universal values.

1.2 Target participants

All students taking PRS1032 are required to participate in the task allocated to them.
Peer assessment will be given by each member to evaluate their own team members.
Questionnaires must be given to members of the public (excluding UNIMAS students
and staff).
