Advertise my Products

I have been assigned with the task of analyzing ‘Garage Express’, a growing Facebook
page with about half-a-thousand followers as of the writing of this analysis. The business page
was created about 10 months ago, specifically on the 28 th of August 2019. Garage Express sells
64 products of different nature. Electronics, appliances, household items are common
categories. Presented below is a simple SWOT analysis based on the findings of my
investigation.

The suggestions I will be making will be based on the findings of the investigation that I
presented above. I will first address the weaknesses of the business and then discuss its
opportunities.
The first weakness to discuss is that the only social media presence the business has is its
Facebook page, creating more accounts will lead to more avenues for the business to grow as
well as more communication channels with its customers. Second, I was able to find out that the
business has no Facebook Marketplace account, no Lazada Shop, and no Shopee Shop. The
creation of these accounts will benefit the business with the same benefits opening more social
media accounts will do, more avenues for growth and more communication channels for
customers. Another weakness I found is that the Facebook page of the business has no reviews.
Encouraging customers to leave reviews and ratings will help in building trust for new
customers visiting the page.
The most important opportunity to
discuss is the advertising aspect of the business.
The strategy I would suggest is to join groups
for specific products and make posts there. For
example, Garage Express sells a lot of beautiful
vases. On the side of this is a picture of what an
example strategic post would be most appealing
to customers.
Again, these are my suggestions based on
my experience as an analyst. You may or may
not implement the course of actions I have
stated in this paper. Most of my knowledge in
analysis was developed only half a year ago
during one of the courses in the curriculum.
