Floppy disk (FD) explorer
■Outline
Floppy disk （FD) explorer (hereunder, FD explorer) is option software which make it possible to read and write RMX format data
on Windows PC. Normally, Windows system is not able to read RMX format floppy disk (FD). When use FD explorer, reading and
writing on Windows is possible.
FD explorer support FAT (MS-DOS) format which is able to read and write on Windows. FD explorer recognize data format
automatic, so format and other setting is not required.
■To read data of multibus controller machines.

【Notice】 Please peruse this chapter, when use FD converter for multibus controller machines.
USB type 3-mode FDD is necessary to read FD of multibus controller machines.
Even if the FDD support RMX format FD, the FDD might not be able to read some of FD data. Because each FDD has individual
difference for signal characteristic. When FDD save the data, each FDD save individual difference of signal characteristic and
timing also. As the result, different FDD might not read the data due to the unique signal characteristic and timing.
FD explorer retry to read FD when fail to read FD once automatic. Please approve that some of FD data might not be able
to read even if retry to read.
