If you haven't paid your $24 MOPS International fee yet (or $29 for
mentor moms), please do so ASAP. We are supposed to have Katherine Owens 1-Dec

 We are collecting women's personal products for Love, Inc.
 We are also collecting shoeboxes or items for shoeboxes for
Operation Christmas Child. If you didn't get these ready in
time for the Nov. 18th MOPS meeting, you can also drop
them off at Oakhill Christian Church or School until Sunday,
Nov. 21st.
 Don't forget our t-shirt design contest. Please send us your
ideas for a MOPS t-shirt that we can use for our group. The

What did you do before you became a mother? A little bit of

What is your favorite thing about being a mom? Watching
my son grow and explore new things.
What has been your biggest parenting challenge and how
did you handle it? People doubting that I can raise my child
as a blind mother. I pray every day, and each day it gets
better, but I’m still battling it.
What are your hobbies/interests apart from being a mom?
Reading, talking on the phone or texting, computers, long
walks in the park. Hobbies: writing poetry, playing the
piano, being with family and friends.
Tell us an interesting tidbit about yourself. I’m sort of shy,
but seldom quiet.
What are you most proud of (besides being a mom)?
Achieving many of my long term goals.
How does your faith shape the kind of mom you are? I have
learned to be more patient, and pray before losing my
temper
What’s your favorite food? Pizza and Chocolate.
What’s your favorite restaurant? Olive Garden.
What’s your favorite meal to prepare for your family?
Dinner.
What’s your favorite movie? The Notebook.
Where is your favorite vacation spot? Hawaii.
