Loving God, the One who came in your name continues to come. Let us pray for the coming of the reign of peace.
with grace and power, forgiveness, and strength, O God, into the pain of the tortured,
truth and imagination, gentleness, and love. breathe release.
May the Coming One enter the hearts. Into the hunger of the very poor,
of those who wait with quiet expectation breathe fullness.
for all that is good and holy and just. Amen. Into the wounds of the planet,
breathe well-being.
