Today we going to talk about of the cut and fill method and room and pillar
method.
The cut and fill method is more expensive than the room and pillar method.
Simple definition. (TAMA)
room and pillar method consists of excavating the mineralized body as much as
possible, leaving mineral pillars, which support the sterile material roof. (tama)
the cut and fiull method consists of excavating the mineral by horizontal slices in a
ascending sequence, starting from the mine. (SU)

Comparisons and explanation: 


- the cut and fill method is more expensive than the room and pillar, because it
explodes the high grade ore first, that's why It's highly selective. (TAMA)
-the cut and fill method is safer than room and pillar, because It doesn't
generate subsidence it fills automatically when cut. (SU)
- the room and pillar method is slower than cut and fill, because in the cut and fill
method it is automatically filled with sterile mineral. (TAMA)
Survey: 
According to the survey, this are the results obtained:
- the 36.4% of the students say that the room and pillar method is the most
expensive, contrasted with the 63.6% of the students who say that the cut and fill is
more expensive. ( TAMA )
Conclusion: 
in conclusion, the cut and fill method allows to explote mineral bodies without
problems, which are located parallel and separated by sterile zones. ( TAMA )
