Endcover and Fuel Nozzle Assembly Repair

for E- and F-class Gas Turbines fact sheet
GE Energy offers sophisticated endcover and fuel nozzle repairs for
both E- and F-class heavy-duty gas turbines. Parts associated with
the combustion process, as well as those exposed to high
temperatures from hot gases discharged from the combustion
system, are unique to GE’s gas turbines and require precision
repair and refurbishment. The components of the combustion
system include combustion liners, end caps, endcover and fuel
nozzle assemblies, crossfire tubes, transition pieces and flow
sleeves. Of these components, endcover and fuel nozzle
assemblies, in particular, are critical to engine performance.

During the life of the gas turbine, any performance issues

resulting from typical wear may call for fuel nozzle inspection.
GER-3620 (Heavy Duty Gas Turbine Operating and Maintenance
Considerations) recommends scheduled repair intervals for each
turbine to increase life expectancy.
