Introduction

The growth of global trade in goods and services, innovation and proposals in free trade
agreements, pressure from customers for quality goods, the evolution of communications and
competition.

This research work is carried out in order to search for the natural products market which has
been establishing for the last decades in the manufacturing applications of environmentally
friendly products, which generates an increase in terms of quality standards. and its continuous
improvement in laboratory practices with natural fibers. For this reason, Colombia intervenes in
the investigation on the use of the resources evidenced in areas of the country for the generation
of new ideas, and thus generate commercialization with its products taking into account the
required characteristics, by foreign companies.

They are characterized by being renewable and also biodegradable, generating a low
environmental impact, they have low costs compared to other fibers such as fiberglass, which is
the most widely used in the industry, for having a low weight, they have properties as thermal
insulators and also acoustic and evidence high resistance to impact and tension.

Polyester shingles reinforced with fiberglass has great advantages in the Colombian national

market; the combination of these raw materials allows to obtain a translucent product which

results in significant energy savings also provides great safety on the roofs of the buildings since

they can work in challenging conditions such as Strong winds, corrosion, high strength and

require minimal maintenance.

This research has focused on conducting market research for the export of shingles to the

country of Peru.

International Agreement:

The currently existing Andean Community (CAN) International Agreement where its member

countries are Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru allows the tariff heading of fibreglass-

reinforced polyester tiles (3921909000) to have a tariff 0% tariff where it normally has a 10% fee

to enter the country of Peru.

Niche Market:

Our focus is on the participation and specification of relevant projects such as, colleges,

universities, hospitals, greenhouses, airports, etc., the characteristics in the manufacture of the

product allows to adapt to different scenarios it represents significant savings in terms of light

transmission at the different points where you install the product.

The Peruvian market is currently booming due to its significant advances in the construction

sector, for example, in September 2019, Peru was developing the following buildings, according

investments of this scope.
