How can Ashley be a more effective team leader?

Answer:
Ashley will be a more effective team leader if she establish trust and connection through
validating the concerns that were originally presented to her and also ask members for feedback
and suggestions. She also have to clarify expectations and openly discuss the issues , lay out all
responsibilities and discuss in detail how the new process should look.

Ashley will be more effective if she continue coaching by empowering individuals ,support
success and model intended culture. She must expand leadership repertories through democratic ,
affiliation , coaching and transformation by intentional growth of emotional intelligence.

What can Ashley do to get her team more interested in functioning as a team?

Answer:
The main problem of the company is poor customer services due to slow processing time for
claims and policies. Ashley take the initiative by arranging team meetings to explain the new
expectations and benefits of the new structure.

For the purpose of making team more interested in functions Ashley must have to inspire the
team through building morale , raise awareness and connect authenticities between team. Team
will be more effective if she empower them by highlighting benefits ,requesting inputs. Also give
them coaching & direction through feedback punishment or reward.

Based on whatever information you have found in the case, what is your
evaluation of Ashley’s charisma?

Answer:
Ashley’s ability to manage the team is a good start, but without the ability to connect and build
relationships with them she cannot effectively lead them to change . She has a charismatic
personality but she needs to develop her team for getting better performance .Ashley team need
to create a vision ,be sensibly persistent ,develop synchronization between the team so that make
the team more effective and build interest in functional affairs of the company.
