Introduction to Le Meridien

 The Le Méridien brand was established in 1972 by Air France "to provide on a home
away from home for its customers."
 The first Le Méridien property was a 1,000-room hotel in Paris — Le Méridien Etoile.
 Within two years of operation, the group had 10 hotels in Europe and Africa.
 Within the first six years, the number of hotels had risen to 21 hotels in Europe, Africa,
the French West Indies, Canada, South America, the Middle East and Mauritius.
 By 1991, the total number of Le Méridien properties had risen to 58.
 In 2011, Le Méridien opened up its 100th hotel in Coimbatore, India.

 Le Meridien, New Delhi, is a part of the CJ International hotel Ltd.

 The hotel is being operated in collaboration with the famous Meridien chain of Hotels, from
France.
 It is a 5 star super deluxe hotel situated at Windsor Place, Janpath in the vicinity of Connaught
Place.
 Delhi's most exclusive and most centrally located commercial house at a distance of 20 kms
from IGI and 14 kms from Domestic Airport.
 The hotel has the most central location within easy reach of the entire commercial center in the
city and the major government offices, Parliament house etc.
 It has 20 storeyed building with exceptionally dine French architecture with 20 floors, atrium
lobby and glass capsule elevators.
 All these characteristics make the property most exclusive and unique, as a heaven of
hospitality with paradise in all 358 rooms promising as the finest hotel in Delhi.

or operational demands.

1. Sovereign – It can hold a capacity of up to 800 – 1000 guests. It can be Split into two
different halls offering a capacity of up to 350 - 400 Guests. The
separated halls are called Sovereign I & Sovereign II.
2. Desire – It can hold a capacity of up to 500 Guests. This hall is generally offered for
meetings or conferences, but other celebrations are also arranged in this hall.
3. Inspire - It can hold a capacity of up to 300 Guests. This hall is generally offered for
meetings or conferences, but other celebrations are also arranged in this hall.
4. Allure - It can hold a capacity of up to 200 Guests. This hall is generally offered for
meetings or conferences, but other celebrations are also arranged in this hall.
5. FF I – It can hold a capacity of up to 100 – 150 Guests.
6. FF II – It can hold a capacity of up to 10 – 25 Guests.
7. 2000, 2010 & 2020 – It can hold a capacity of up to 50 – 75 Guests. All three of these
hall can separated or connected as per guest needs.
