FOLDER STRUCTURE
01_Call-Outs - The main folder that holds all the animations and builds for
the call-outs. Each call-out has a designated folder assigned to it to keep the
project neat and clean.

02_Assets - Holds footage and logo place holders. You can also find the “Call-
Out Preview” composition here to navigate the call-out you would like to use.

EDITING A CALL-OUT
1. Find the call-out you would like to change in “01_Call-Outs” folder
2. Open the “Call Out” compositions to begin editing
3. Begin to edit

TEXT EDIT
1. Double click the text layer you would like to edit. Example: “Title Line”
2. Begin typing

TEXT AND BOX ADJUSTMENTS

1. Select the text layer you would like to edit
2. In the effects panel you will find a “Box Color” and “Box Size” controller
3. Adjust the “Box Color” controller to change the color of the box
4. Adjust the “Box Size” controller to change the size of the box
5. Some boxes have outlines - use the “Box Thickness” controller to adjust
6. To change the color of the text simply change the color in the Character
menu just as you normally would

DUPLICATING A CALL-OUT
1. Find the call-out you want to use over and over in the “01_Call Outs” folder
2. Duplicate the entire folder. Example: folder titled “01”

OPTION 2:
1. Open the “build” composition for the call-out you want to use
2. Select the “shy” button at the top to reveal the hidden layers
3. Copy all of these layers into the composition you want to use them in
4. Select the “shy” button again to hide them in your new composition

MOVING THE CALL-OUT

1. Select the “Build” composition for the call-out you want to use
2. You will find layers titled; “Point_01_Driver”, “Point_02_Driver” and
“Point_03_Driver
3. Make sure your “Call-Out” layer is parented to Point_01_Driver
4. Simply move the drivers to where you want them in your scene

TRACKING A CALL-OUT:
1. Look up tutorials on motion tracking
2. Once you have your footage tracked, then parent your Point Drivers to
the tracked null

TROUBLESHOOTING
If you open the project and your call-outs are blank or not showing up follow
these steps Select Edit > Purge > All Memory & Disk Cache. This should
refresh your titles and animations.

Use the above method before rendering as well ease your mind.
