Post Description

Pay Scale (Rs. 15600-39100/- (PB-3) plus Rs. 5400/-(Grade Pay) Revised Pay Matrix Rs. 56100-177500 /- (Level 10) Pay Rs. 56100
allowances as admissible.

Age Not exceeding 35 years as on normal closing date. Not exceeding 38 years for Other Backward Class candidates as on
normal closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Not exceeding 40 years for Scheduled Caste candidates
as on normal closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central
Government Servants upto 5 years as per instructions or orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. For age

Essential Qualificaiton (s) A). EDUCATIONAL

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or institute.
B). EXPERIENCE-
Possessing three year’s experience in the branch of Civil Engineering.

Desirable Qualificaiton (s)

Duty(ies) Material survey, collection of rock, soil and aggregates samples and geotechnical data from project sites Conducting lab
test, compilation and preparation f report, formulation of project proposal, evaluation of DPR and handling of self-sponsored
R and D projects, technical evaluation of design parameters of hydro structures.

Probation One year

Head Quarter Central Soil and Materials Research Station, New Delhi, with All India Service Liability.

Other Details General Central Service, Group ‘A’, Gazetted. (Non-Ministerial). The posts are permanent.
