Human resource management aims to develop policies that promote mutual benefits for employees and organizations. These policies include mutual goals, respect, rewards, and responsibilities to elicit employee commitment and improve economic performance. While human resource management was once treated separately, it is now integrated into overall strategic business management.

Human Resource Development and Management Jonathan B. Lastimado, MBA Doctor of Business Administration – 1
In our organization, they lack in handling their employees when it comes to
development, motivation, human relations as well as some of the managerial functions but they are good in giving right compensation to their employees. I believe that people in an organization are an important source or asset to be used for the benefit or organizations, employees and society. It is emerging as a distinct philosophy of management aiming at policies that promote mutuality-mutual goals, mutual respect, mutual rewards, and mutual responsibilities. The belief is that policies of mutuality will elicit commitment, which in return, will yield both better economic performance and greater Human Resource Development. Though a distinct philosophy, human resource management cannot be treated in isolation. It is being integrated into the overall strategic management of businesses.
