What about re‐take/re‐test policy:
Any student who fails an exam will be given an opportunity to retake the exam. The fee to
retake the wri en exam is $100/member or $200/non‐member. The fee to retake the prac cal
exam is $200/member or $300/non‐member. Prior to retaking the exam(s) it is suggested that
you study independently or arrange to be tutored in the course material. If this is your second
me failing, you must wait for a period of six months before taking the exam(s) for a third ‐
me. Anyone who is unable to pass on the third a empt will be considered ineligible for this
cer fica on and must wait for a period of two years from the date of the most recent a empt
before re‐entering the program.

What about exam?

This course is completed with a comprehensive wri en examina on and a prac cal
(instrument use) examina on. Students passing both components of the basic course exam at
70% or higher and mee ng the prerequisites for cer fica on can take the wri en and hands‐
on cer fica on exams on day 6. A passing grade of 80% or higher on the wri en and hands‐on
cer fica on exam is required to become an SSPC Cer fied Coa ng Inspector.

Will I receive the handbook in advance to study:

Yes, one pdf and other printed for the course.

SSPC cer fica on is valid for ARAMCO QM 11 & 12?

Yes, SAEP 316, point 5.5 recalls: Third Party Training Company cer fica on (NACE, SSPC or
equivalent) or Saudi Aramco approved coa ng supplier for the type of coa ng to be applied.

Which is language of the course?

English only.

Which are pre‐requisites for level 2?

Process A‐1, Take PCI level 1 with formal training:

2 years or 3000 hours of coa ng inspec on experience + PCI course + 40 hours of approved
coa ng training:

Process A‐2, take PCI level 1 without formal training:

3 years or 4500 hours of coa ng inspec on experience

Process B‐1, by‐pass PCI level 1 with formal training:

2 years or 3000 hours of coa ng inspec on experience + 80 hours of formal training of
which 40 hours must be formal coa ngs inspec on training

Process B‐2, by‐pass PCI level 1 without formal training:

4 years or 6000 hours of coa ng inspec on experience

How can i reach the loca on?

By car or by train from milan central sta on. In case you travel by car, please consider that to
drive in Switzerlands’ highways you will need a “vigne e” adhesive to s ck on your wind‐
shield. The cost is 40€. If you drive from italy, vigne e is not needed since no highway is dri‐
ven.
