ORDINAL NUMBERS

¡This kind of numbers are use to put things in some order! When you do that, the cardinal
numbers change in their writing and spelling!

1. For example, you use this in “dates”, “centuries”, “sequence”, “floor of a building”.
2. Some rules about the suffix that need to be added to the numbers:
a. When a number ends in 1, the suffix at the end is “-ST”
b. When a number ends in 2, the suffix at the end is “-ND”
c. When a number ends in 3, the suffix at the end is “-RD”
d. When a number ends in 0,4,5,6,7,8,9 (including 10, 100, 1000, etc.), the suffix
at the end is “-TH”.
e. (some exception you can spot! In the 11, 12, 13 you going to use the suffix “-
TH”)
