ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Entry requirements for Masters programme
Applicants for Masters Degree programme shall have the following qualifications:
(a) Bachelor Degree with good Cumulative Grade Pointer Average (CGPA) from a University or any higher learning
institution recognised by the Senate; or
(b) Degree in Medical or Dentistry from a University or any higher learning institution; or degree equivalent thereto
from any institution recognised by the Senate; or
(c) other qualifications recognised by the Senate obtained by accreditation of learning based on prior experience
(APEL - Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning) or by recognition of prior learning (RPL – Recognition of Prior
Learning)
(a) Masters Degree from a University or any higher learning institution recognised by the Senate; or
(b) other qualifications equivalent to Masters Degree and having other qualifications or experience recognised by
the Senate; or
(c) currently attending Masters programme under sub regulation 6(1)(a) full time at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia
and certified by the Faculty Graduate Study Committee/Graduate Management Centre to change status to
Doctorate Programme with the approval of Dean of Faculty/Director of Institute; or
(d) Bachelor Degree by obtaining excellent results from a University or any higher learning institution recognised by
the Senate; or
(d) other qualifications recognised by the Senate obtained by accreditation of learning based on prior experience
(APEL - Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning) or by recognition of prior learning (RPL – Recognition of Prior
Learning); and
ENGLISH REQUIREMENTS
An international candidate is required to fulfil the English Language proficiency requirements as follows:
(a) obtained TOEFL or IELTS results which fulfil the score or minimum band requirements prescribed by the programme;
or
(b) for certain programmes, a candidate is required to sit for an English Proficiency Placement Test (EPPT) and if he fails to
achieve the level specified by the programme, the candidate is required to attend and pass the English Proficiency Module
(EPM) in a maximum period of two (2) semesters before he is allowed to register for the study programme.

The closing date for course work and mixed mode program is on 06th June 2020.
Candidates can check the result for the application starting on 25th June 2020.
