Based on the regulations of the Studienordnung § 3 Absatz (4) of the postgraduate degree
course 'Tourism Development Strategies’ the 2-semester program contains components
which incur costs.

These components, such as:

 company visits
 social and intercultural events

are relevant to every student of the 2-semester master’s degree course Tourism Development
Strategies for the matriculation in winter semester 2020-2021.

Therefore I, ........................................…… , born on ....................................……… irrevocably

undertake to pay the costs arising from studying in the degree course 'Tourism Development
Strategies', which amount to a maximum of € 250.00.

The amount must be paid in full before enrolment, and an account statement (or a transfer
slip authenticated by the bank) has to be presented on enrolment (for account details see
enclosure). The transfer is requested AFTER you received the notification of admission from
the Hochschule Stralsund.

All financial obligations as stipulated above are enforceable. My personal data registered by
the Hochschule Stralsund which are necessary for enforcement may be used by the
Hochschule Stralsund and, if necessary, be transmitted to third parties (e.g. the court of
enforcement responsible).

I understand that non-payment of the amounts specified above will prevent me eventually
from participating in mandatory components of my degree course. As a consequence I would
be unable to comply with the stipulations of the examination regulations, which would lead to
compulsory exmatriculation under §17, article 7 of the Law on Higher Education in
Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.

I understand that premature termination of my studies will entitle me to reimbursement of the

amount not spent. However, costs incurred until exmatriculation will have to be paid by me in
full.

Any disputes arising from this financial declaration are subject to the arbitration of an
arbitration board nominated by the Hochschule Stralsund.
