Pinay Model prevailed in the ASNTM Cycle 5

For almost 13 months of shooting and 13 episodes of modeling:


an inexperienced yet a passionate and driven young Filipina model,
Maureen Wroblewitz declared as the first Filipina who win in the fifth
cycle of Asia’s Next Top Model with this year’s hashtag “Expect the
unexpected”.

The cycle featured 14 contestants: three from Indonesia and the


Philippines, two from Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand, and one each
from Taiwan and Vietnam. Taiwan marked its comeback after its
absences from the two previous cycle

Begins with 14 ravishing models from all across the Asia, only
three women left to compete for the finale. Maureen, together with
Min Tu Nguyen of Vietnam and Shikin Gomez of Malaysia, fought tooth
and nail during photo shoots and weekly challenges to stay in the
running towards Asia’s Next Top model. The tough competition was
highlight with the remaining contestants’ last photo shoot and run way
show, and in the end, the Philippines exceeded at the top.

As this season’s winner, Maureen gets a chance to land a


modeling contract with Storm Model Management in London. She will
also take home a Subaru Impreza and is slated to star in a cover and
fashion spread for Nylon Singapore.
