The Eastern Gangas emerges in the present day Odisha region thus reducing Vakataka kingdom size. Guptas are confined into Bangladesh region and parts of West Bengal and Bihar. Kingdom of Nepal is established bordering Hephthalites. 511 AD : Kalachuri's rules the northern part of the Traikutaka and Vakataka kingdom. Jayashima the first Chalukyan King rules the Kuntala, southern part of the Vakataka and Traikutaka kingdoms. Thus Vakatakas are destroyed. 550 AD : Gupta Empire is destabilised with Bhanugupta as last known Gupta. 551 AD : Eastern Ganga breaks into four small kingdoms Dakshina in North, Kongoda in East, Nala in West and Kalinga in South. 564 AD : Hephthalites are destroyed by the Western Gokturks in the Bactrian region. The Hephthalites in Indian subcontinent are broken into several kingdoms. Kingdom of Kashmir, Multan and Sindh borders with Sassanid Empire. Gujarat becomes Vallabhi kingdom and Gurjar Kingdom is formed in north of Gujarat. Harsha's Empire is formed. Palas regains Magadha. Kamarupa becomes independent. Southern part of Prathihara kingdom brokes into Malwa, Chandela and Kalachuri kingdoms. 947 AD : Abbasid is replaced by Buyid in Middle East. Caliphate begins to break. 951 AD : Krishna 3 a Rashtrakuta king extended his rule till Kaveri and ruled Thondaimandalam thus subjugating Cholas. 970 AD : Cholas revives from Rashtrakuta influence and Kerala is free from Rashtrakutas. 972 AD : Gurjar is broken into Gujarat, Chauhan in Rajasthan, Tomara near Ganga river. Still Prathiharas rule till Benares. 974 AD : Rashtrakutas are replaced by Kalyani Chalukyas. Malwa becomes independent and is in northern border of Chalukyas.Rashtrakutas are confined to southern most part of present day Karnataka surrounded by Chola, Kerala and Chalukyan kingdoms. 983 AD : Rashtrakutas are completely wiped out and their small region is annexed to Chalukyan kingdom. 985 AD : Raja Raja Chola comes to power. 991 AD : Present day Tamilnadu and Kerala comes under Chola rule. 994 AD : Northern Part of Sri Lanka comes under Chola rule. 996 AD : Palas captures Kamarupa in North East of India. 998 AD : Samanids are replaced by Ghaznavids. Mahmud of Ghazni comes to power. 999 AD : Khara Khanid Khanate formed on Transoxania north of Ghaznavid. Herat is Seljuq's capital. 1056AD : Seljuq's captures Buyid Empire and Baghdad is under their control. 1071AD : Ceylon is freed from Chola domination by Sinhala King VijayaBahu. 1078AD : Kalinga is free from Cholas. 1080AD : Sri Vijaya Kingdom becomes independent from Cholas. 1081AD : Palas regain their Bangladesh territories lost to Cholas. 1096AD : Khorasan breaks free from Seljuq with Herat city. Bengal breaks free from Palas. Palas lose North East and confined to small part of present day Bihar. 1109AD : Hoysalas emerge in present day Karnataka thus reducing Chola Kingdom size. 1126AD : Khara Khanid is replaced by Khara Khitan in Transoxania region. 1141AD : Seljuq breaks into Kerman and Fars in its southern part. 1150AD : Ghurid kingdom is establised between Khorasan and Ghaznavid 1152AD : Chauhans occupy Tomara. 1156AD : Chalukyas shrinks to small area above Hoysalas. Its territories are occupied by Kalachuris of Kalyani and Kalinga. Bahmani Kingdom is broken into Ahmadnagar and Berar in North west and east respectively and Bijapur and Bahmani in South West and East respectively. 1493AD : Bidar is formed as seperate state between Ahmadnagar, Berar, Bijapur and Bahmani kingdoms. 1502AD : Persian Kingdom emerges West of Caspian Sea. 1505AD : Mughal forms a region in present Uzbekistan and Kabul. 1510AD : Persian Kingdom annexes Al Koynulu kingdom with Baghdad and large part of Timurid kingdom in its North and West. 1511AD : Goa comes under Portugese control. 1519AD : Southern Bahmani becomes Golconda. 1521AD : Bahrain comes under Portugese control and soon they establish a port in Oman to control Arabian Sea. 1526AD : Babur's victory in first battle of Panipat against Ibrahim Lodi of Delhi Sultanate.
