Sub: Adequacy of Structural System for Proposed Hangers (Hanger 1 & 2) to be used as
isolation centers at Racecourse Parking, Mumbai

We hereby confirm the following,

Design configuration & structural system used for 30m wide Hanger 1 structure & 20m
wide Hanger 2 structure at Racecourse Parking, Mumbai, is a standard proprietary system
developed by M/S Losberger Modular Systems GmbH, Deutschland, Germany & shall be
used an a temporary structure for the specified tenure.
Hanger 1, having clear span of 30m is without side struts & in Hanger 2, having clear span of
20m, 5 portals out of 27 are without side struts. In this proprietary system, side strut
requirement is not essential for withstanding wind induced forces up to wind speed of
102kmph.
Structural system satisfies theoretical requirements as per design standards to withstand
wind induced forces up to wind speed of 102kmph, provided structural components have
not undergone any distress or deformation, galvanized coating on base plate & connection
components is in intact & execution work is done as per manufactures’ prescribed
practices. Adequacy of anchor bolts shall be confirmed by performing pull out tests.
Purpose of the above said structure is of temporary nature and shall be used for specified
tenure only.
