Segment for Cisco Asia Pacific, Japan. & Greater
China. He is responsible for driving Sales
Transformation through strategic initiatives and
driving standardization across APJC to drive
consistent and replicable sales behavior.

Prior to his current role, Amit led several roles in

Cisco including managing the Public Sector &
Services business for Cisco in India and South
Asia, responsible for the sale of Cisco products
and services to the Central and State
Governments and Defence in India. He also led
various initiatives around Smart Cities besides
leading Cisco Services in India and South Asia.

Amit’s experience spans over 25 years in diverse industries such as Electrical, Industrial
Automation, Transportation, Telecommunication and IT. He has held several leadership
positions in his 14 years in Cisco across all segments.

Amit has been acknowledged in India and South Asia for his efforts in driving the growth
of information and communication technology, leading to business transformation. A key
speaker at forums on Inclusive Growth, Smart Nations and 5G, Amit is the Co-
Chair , FICCI Urban Infrastructure & Smart Cities Committee and has been the past Co
Chair for ICT for CII Eastern Region and the Vice Chairman for Amcham.

Amit is passionate about leveraging technology for driving inclusive growth and
mentoring startups.
