Proposal for PRAISE Awards 2020

RATIONALE:
Every year, the City holds an awarding ceremony for city government employees. This is
to commend exemplary performance in public service, as well as, to recognize employees
who are in service for the long time.
However, due to the pandemic we are currently facing and the restrictions that come
along with it, the annual awarding needs to have some tweaking from its usual manner
for us to be able to still push it through.
This year, the City Information Office is proposing a VIRTUAL PRAISE AWARDS
2020. The program flow will be the same but the platform will be online.

SEQUENCE GUIDE:
1. A message will flash on the screen announcing that the program will start in a few
2. Voice over that event will start now
3. A short video and/or audio of prayer will be played
4. City’s national anthem AVP will follow
5. The host will deliver his opening spiel and will introduce the Vice Mayor for welcome
remarks
6. Vice Mayor’s pre-recorded message will play on the screen
7. The host will read the names of the awardees per office while their photo is flashed on
the screen. Names will appear on screen. Host will first read the content of the certificate
before the names of awardees
8. The host will then introduce the speaker for the Inspirational Message
9. CSC Director will deliver his/her pre-recorded message
10. The pre-recorder intermission number will be played on screen
11. The host will then introduce the speaker for the Motivational Message
12. Laguna First District Representative will deliver his pre-recorded message
13. Awarding will resume after the motivational message.
14. After, the host will then introduce the speaker for the Congratulatory Message
15. Mayor will deliver her pre-recorded message
16. Right after the congratulatory message, another intermission number.
17. The host will then introduce the special awardee. His/her name together with a photo will
appear on screen.
18. The Special Awardees (6) will deliver their speech (pre-recorded)
