Many researches have been done to corelate job satisfaction and organisation commitment

with work performance and turnover. Each of these parameters depend on various factors and
depending upon organisation and the employee surveyed, different researches yield different
results. While some research found a significant correlation, others found no or negative
correlation for the same set of parameters.
In our research we surveyed employees from two different organizations and found a
significant negative correlation between job satisfaction and turnover intention. Factors such
as above average pay, better work environment and fringe benefits led to high job satisfaction
and less intention of quitting job or lower turnover intention. Also we found that no
correlation existed between organisation commitment and turnover intention because
employee surveyed were not given projects with higher responsibilities due to less work
experience.
