INTRODUCTION
Al-Basel Building Materials and Contracting Company was established in 1979 by the
late Mr. Abdul-Aziz Fares. It is registered at the chamber of Commerce and Industry
under the registration No. 8966.

It is a pleasure to introduce Al-Basel Co. as one of the leading suppliers of marble and
granite products in the Kuwaiti market. Due to a meticulous selection process, our
company imports excellent quality products, which are then processed in our factory
by specialized labor; cut to size, polished, and designed according to specifications
meeting our customer’s needs.

For more than three decades now, Al-Basel prides itself in providing undisputable
experience and quality of work combined with professionalism and an ever-evolving
nature for the latest trends and technologies. The company now has over ninety
specialized and devoted employees, an uncountable stock of onyx, marble, stone
and granite as well as projects around the world.

DESIGN
Al-Basel offers in-house design services and consulting for tailored
marble creations and inlays. Our professional design team produces
shop drawings and uses various visual aids to allow the client to
visualize every aspect of the design. Suitable marbles and finishes
are chosen together with our designers and architects making it
possible to accurately transpose every idea onto stone, irrespective of
the nature of the project or its technical complexity.

Marble is a metamorphic rock. It was once limestone,
but over time, the combination of intense heat and
pressure caused the limestone to re-crystallize.
Foreign substances often entered the stone during
this process, creating an infinite variety of colors,
textures and veining. Marble is a lot like people; no
two are exactly alike.

At Al-Basel, marbles are cut from premium quality

stones, which has been selected by our company
for its natural color, grain structure and durability
characteristics.
