- your style (personality type, vocabulary, character traits etc)
- Your lane (communicate truth in different ways)

Lanes:
- Speaking to Big Groups of believers & unbelievers
- Small Groups
- Creative Messaging & Resources
4th lane requires maturity not a calling
- Unique urge to teach

You’ll never be effective as you could be trying to be someone you’re not called to be.

Some seasons you can’t alter, you have to endure. Ask God for grace and patience endure the
season you’re in!

Our callings have unique burdens. This is where we should make a unique contribution.

Discernment should take place in the context of community.

A call to preparation (Jesus mentored the disciples first)

Preaching vs Pastoring

Peoples desire for you to feed them (builds) vs the people’s desire for you to lead them (moves)

God only gives you grace where you are gifted. (Anointing) If you step out you carry the burden
without God’s help.

The preparation requires customisation

Management information system - write the revelation

The devil doesn’t want you to remember revelations

When God gives you a major insight you have to catalogue it

Catalogue in your times of strength so you can draw on it in your time of weakness

Are you studying strategically?

God gives a person eagle eyes - the ability to see quickly

The lord scans the earth like eagle eyes (the eyes weigh more than the eagles brain)

You have to always deliver your authentic self but the room determines what part of yourself
that you deliver (energy/ learning style etc)

Communicate: Transfer of ideas, concepts, thoughts and feelings from one person to the next.
- Was I clear?
- Was I me? (Authenticity)
- Was I consistent? (Was the message consistent with the thought God gave me?)

God only anoints the authentic self!!

Sharing off the platform reaches more than Platform sharing of the gospel.

The WORD is significant not the lane you’re in!

No objective reader of the New Testament can come away without seeing the need for sharing
the gospel.

People cannot change without preaching. It takes more than hearing the word to change, but we
can’t change without hearing the word.
The word gives hope!!
