This document will help you get signed up for classes and one-shot games. We have also included
some links to helpful Fantasy Grounds information.

Step One: Register on our community website using your FGC Discord name at:
https://fantasygroundscollege.net/new-user-registration. It is important that your name on our
website and in our discord match so that we can find you when it is time for your class to start. If
you do not follow this rule, you may end up missing out on taking classes as we have no way to
contact you to let you know where to meet for your class.

Step Two: After you reply to the confirmation email, login to your account on the website, and you
can look for classes or games in our Events Calendar at: https://fantasygroundscollege.net/events/
All our events are listed in UTC 0. Add or subtract your UTC offset from the time shown to find out
when the class/game starts in your time. After you find a class or game to join, scroll to the bottom of
the event listing and click on the blue “Sign Up” button to book a spot. You will receive a conformation
when your booking is approved.

Step Three: On the day of your game or class, try to arrive on the FGC Discord 30 min to 1 hour prior
to class. Your instructor will ping you from the classroom or game room where the class or game will
take place. Have your headphones charged and if your class is one that requires you to access the
instructor’s server, have Fantasy Grounds loaded and wait for your instructor to give you the alias to
log in. All classes and games (unless otherwise stated) can be accessed with the Fantasy Grounds
Demo. Right now, we are only teaching using Fantasy Grounds Classic, so be sure to have the
proper demo for your class/game.

Step Four: If you find that you are unable to make your class or game, please go to our website and
cancel your booking at: https://fantasygroundscollege.net/events/my-bookings/ Search for the
class/game you wish to cancel and click the cancel link. Our instructors and DMs are all volunteers,
and members that sign up for classes and do not show or let us know they cannot make it will be
added to a list. If this happens more than once, you will be placed on academic probation and will be
unable to book classes/games using the calendar. You will be contacted to let you know. You can
take classes, but you must show up to the class the day of the class and see if 1) there is room, and
2) if your instructor is willing to add you.

you can ask them in #ask-the-experts. We have Ruleset Specific channels, so if you have questions
pertaining to a specific ruleset, asking them there would be the best place to do so. Lastly, we have
the #role-allocation channel where you can click on the emojis at the bottom to sign up to be informed
when there are new classes in those topics/rulesets.
