I´m motivated by curiosity and continuous learning. With a true passion for music, I play the electric guitar and enjoy
occupying myself building audio electronic devices for music. Sometimes, I participate as a musician in community theatre
and dance groups. I have an enthusiasm for surrealism, creativity and quirkiness and I believe this brings with it humour,
warmth and the ability to make meaningful connections.

During my MSC thesis development I designed and tested a 12 channel electromyograph for research porpouses. Electrical
signals from skeletal muscles of the human body contain important information about their use during gait. In this work I
developed an electromyograph capable of capturing the electromyographic signal, with isolated inputs, at twelve
simultaneous points for use in rehabilitation research laboratory. The signal is captured by surface electrodes. There is an
EMG output and a muscle strength output for each channel. Specifications for the project were raised based on muscle
physiology and the existing electromyography literature. Implementation is shown through wiring diagrams. Several tests
and measurements were made to verify the agreement with parameters specified at the beginning of the project, confirming
the agreement with these parameters. Tests are also made to demonstrate the functioning of the instrument by capturing
biological signals in the upper limbs and lower limbs during gait.
