SUBJECT: Confirmation Letter for Anthony Poia as an LLG Elected Ward Member

This letter serves to confirm that Hon. Anthony Poia is a Ward Member for Kuriva Ward #
13 in Vanapa Brown Rural LLG in Central Province.

Hon. Poia sought the Department’s assistance to give this confirmation that he is a duly
elected ward member in the last 2019 LLG Elections. He has been elected to his seat as the
ward member for the above-mentioned ward.

The National Government, through the Department of Provincial and Local Government
Affairs administers the Monthly Allowances payment for all Elected Ward Members
throughout the country and pays them on the rate of K400 per month. Since elected, Hon.
Poia has not been receiving his allowances even though he correctly submitted his account
details due to the issue of Credit Transaction Limit.

Kindly assist Hon. Poia and uplift his account so he can have access to his money. A total of
K2800 was made on Friday, 10th July 2020 that is his 7 months allowance after being elected
as a Ward Member in August 2019.

Attached is a copy of his Election Writ to confirm that he is a duly elected ward member.
