Greetings !

The National Movement of Young Legislators (NMYL) will once again conduct its National Convention and Election of the
National Executive Committee on February 22 to 24, 2023 at the Iloilo Convention Center, Megaworld Boulevard,
Mandurriao, Iloilo City. Once again, the members will converge to strengthen their idealism and commitment to good
governance in the performance of their tasks in local government, particularly in the field of legislation and policy development.

We cordially invite all Vice Governors, Vice Mayors, Provincial Board Members, City/Municipal Councilors, who are 40 years
old and below at the time of their election to office on May 9, 2022 including Liga ng mga Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan
Federation Presidents within the same age range and NMYL Associate members to join this activity.

A REGISTRATION FEE will be collected to cover Hotel Accommodation for 2 nights/3 days, Meals, Kits and other
convention logistics as required.

SOLO Accommodation 24,000.00

SHARING Basis 19,000.00
LIVE Out 15,000.00

For Members Not in Good Standing (those who did not pay their Membership and Term Dues during the Regional and
Provincial Reorganization from September to November 2022). An additional payment of FIVE THOUSAND PESOS

FILING OF CANDIDACY FOR THE NATIONAL EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

NMYL Revised Constitution and By Laws, Article X, Section 14. Filing of Certificates of Candidacies
Filling of Certificate of Candidacy (COC) for the NATIONAL ELECTION SHALL NOT BE LATER THAN THIRTY (30) DAYS PRIOR
TO THE SCHEDULED NATIONAL CONVENTION, during office hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, using the official COC form
provided by the NMYL available at its office and shall be submitted to the NMYL Executive Director at the Office of the National
Secretariat.

Upon the receipt of the NMYL Communication for the 25th
National Convention and Election of the National Executive
Committee, accomplish the Confirmation Slip and send it to:

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE CONFIRMATION FORM DOES
NOT GUARANTEE YOUR ROOM ACCOMMODATION. To
reserve a room, please pay the applicable fees as indicated in
the invitation letter before February 6, 2023.
PRE-REGISTRATION (until February 6, 2023 only, any
payment after the said date will be considered ONSITE)

3. A confirmation email from the National Secretariat will be
received to acknowledge the pre-registration and payment.
Upon arrival at the hotel/registration, following steps will be
followed:
1. Proceed to the Pre-Registration Counter
2. Submit a valid ID and a copy of the validated deposit slip or
proof of payment
3. Receive the Official Receipt, Convention ID and Kit.
Note: Pre-registered participants who fail to attend the event will
be charged accordingly. This will cover the reservation made for
them. In this regard, only 50% will be returned upon
reimbursement. No Certificate of Appearance will be issued.
ONSITE REGISTRATION
Process:
1. Accomplish the NMYL Payment form. Forms are available
at the Registration Area
2. Proceed the designated desks and submit the Payment
form. Pay the appropriate registration fee. Official Receipt
and Convention ID will be issued.
Note: All payments should be in CASH OR
GOVERNMENT CHECKS payable to NMYL Philippines,
Inc. Strictly NO PERSONAL CHECKS/CREDIT CARDS
will be honored.
3. Proceed to Step 3 for the issuance of Kits.
4. Proceed to Step 4 for room assignment.
Hotel Billeting:
We highly encourage pre-registration. The hotel and room
billeting will be on a first come first served basis.

Rooms:
1. Bringing of guests and family members inside the room is
not allowed unless Solo Occupancy is availed.
2. All lost items inside the room (e.g. towels, bed sheets, etc.)
shall be charged to your personal account.
3. Should you make any call, dial the operator. All calls shall
be charged to your personal account.
Meals:
Day 1: Lunch, PM Snack, Dinner
Day 2: Breakfast at respective hotels, AM Snack, Lunch, PM

Day 3: Breakfast at respective hotels
1. We shall be strict in following meals and snacks schedule.
Meals and snacks shall be served only at the specified
time and venue. CONVENTION ID is a “must-have” at all
times.
2. Non-meal items (e.g. beer, cigarettes, beverages), and
those consumed at any of the hotel outlets or through room
services,
3. Hotel amenities: Telephone service, laundry and other
hotel amenities maybe made available for you are not
covered by the activity and shall be charged to your
personal account.
ELECTION PERIOD
Election will be held on February 23, 2023, from 8:00am until
3:00pm. Bring your Convention ID, Official Receipt and a
Government Issued ID to the polling place.
TRANSPORTATION
Airport Transfer is on personal account.
