RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING SHOPPING THE ALTERNATIVE METHOD OF
PROCUREMENT OF CONSTRUCTION SUPPLIES

WHEREAS, the need for the procurement of the construction supplies is exceptionally essential
for the Repair of Basketball Court Destroyed by Typhoon.
WHEREAS, Section 52 (b) of the implementing Rules and Regulations – Republic Act No.
9184 otherwise known as Government Procurement Reform Act, “Allows the BIDS and
AWARD COMMITTEE to recommend the use of alternative method of procurement for the
above mentioned procurement of ordinary and regular supplies and equipment not available in
the procurement service involving an amount not exceeding two hundred fifty thousand pesos
(PhP 2500,000.00);
WHEREFORE, on motion of _______________Unanimously seconded, be it;
RESOLVED, as it hereby resolve to recommend shopping as the alternative method of
procurement of School Supplies.
